I had a mixed experience during my stay at Hanoi Ben's Apartment and Hotel, which lasted three nights. While the room was nice and spacious, and I enjoyed the comfortable bed, I faced some challenges regarding the location and amenities. Overall, it was a decent place, but the darkness in some areas and lack of certain features impacted my stay.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double Room which was quite nice and spacious. The shower was great, and the bed was soft, something I don't usually find in Vietnam. However, the room I ended up in had no natural light as there were no windows.

The staff were polite and helpful. Ha at the receptionist's desk provided me with great tips, especially regarding preparations for Tet. However, my experience was slightly dampened since I had to be moved to a different hotel at the start.

The hotel is located in a nice area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the old town, which I actually appreciated. Although the apartment was in a small alley, I found the area to be very safe.
